“Young Factor”: a project in pursuit of economic and financial literacy

The Governor of the Bundesbank Jens Weidmann will be the guest of the Osservatorio Permanente Giovani-Editori after the invitation of Andrea Ceccherini

It will be the governor of the Bundesbank, Jens Weidmann, next international guests who will tread the stage of the great events of the Osservatorio Permanenet Giovani-Editori.
After the former Governor of the ECB Jean-Claude Trichet, who last year received the invitation of the President of the Osservatorio Andrea Ceccherini, and personally decided to christen the onset of the economic and financial literacy project Young Factor, this year will be number one on the Deutsche Bundesbank to participate, together with Andrea Ceccherini, at a meeting with students of Italian, dedicated to open their eyes to the importance of acquiring a solid culture viability, to be citizens freer and more masters of themselves. The meeting, to be held Sept. 25 in Florence, will coincide with the launch of the second edition of “Young Factor”, an initiative that has now won more than 330,000 students in secondary schools around the country and pointing, in this the new school year, to sight the half a million young people involved.
Will Roberto Napoletano, editor of Il Sole 24 Ore, to interview the governor Weidmann while Maria Concetta Mattei, TG2 Rai journalist, will moderate the call and response of young people with the number one on the Bundesbank.
“Young Factor”, supported by Intesa Sanpaolo, Monte dei Paschi di Siena and UniCredit, is currently the literacy project economic and financial leaders in the country for number of students involved in secondary schools and joined the other big initiative of the Organization , “The Quality Information in the Classroom”, which in the past has exceeded 2 million students participating in the project.
