Fabio Corsico was born in Turin in 1973. Following his classical high school diploma, he studied at the Faculty of Political Science and the ULB Département des Rélations Internationales in Brussels. In 1997 he worked at the Ministry of Defence, in the Office of the Diplomatic Adviser to the then Minister Beniamino Andreatta, in charge of preparing international dossier, and later at the Military Centre of Strategic Studies. Between 1998 and 2001 he worked with Olivetti Mannesmann, first in Ivrea and later in Rome with Infostrada in charge of Communications, Human Resources and finally Head of Public Affairs. During that time he was the company representative in Assinform and AIP. In 2001 he moved to the Ministry for Economy and Finance as Head of the Technical Secretariat of Minister Giulio Tremonti. At that time he was also a member of the Committee for the introduction of the Euro. In autumn 2003 he joined Enel as Head of Institutional Affairs, Relations with Local Municipalities and relations with Confindustria. Since February 2005 he has been External Relations Director, Institutional Affairs and Development of the Caltagirone SpA. He is a member of the di Aspen Junior Fellows, the Council for United States and Italy, the Board of Zero Magazine and Rivista Formiche. He is a member of the Board for Cementir Holding, Biverbanca, Grandi Stazioni, «il Gazzettino». In 1998 he supervised the publication of “National Interests and the Italian Identity” part of a collection of Strategic Studies for Franco Angeli Publishers.
