Richard D. Parsons is an American media executive best known as for his Chairman positions at Time Warner and Citigroup.

American businessman Richard D. Parsons began his career as a lawyer in New York City, working closely with the Rockefeller family, before joining Time Warner’s board and negotiating the company’s merger with America Online in 2000.
Parsons worked closely with both President George W. Bush and President Barack Obama.
He became the chairman of Citigroup in 2009.
